A not-to-be-missed event on the European cycling for all calendar, the 24th edition of the Quebrantahuesos will take place on June 21st 2014 in the province of Huesca (Aragon) in the north of Spain, more precisely the Pyrenees. The participants have the choice of two courses starting out from Sabiñanigo: the Quebrantahuesos Gran Fondo (200km with 4 mountain passes and 3700m of climbing) or the more accessible, 85km Treparriscos Medio Fondo with just one mountain pass, and 1300m of climbing.
The Ariégeoise – FRA
The 20th edition of the Ariégeoise will set off on June 28th from Tarascon-sur-Ariège, in south-west France in the north of the Pyrenees. Riders who are well trained / motivated will choose the “real” Ariégeoise which will lead them to the Plateau de Beille after 162km, numerous climbs and 3560m of climbing. The others will opt for the Mountagnole (Tarascon-Plateau de Beille, 103km and 2542m of climbing) or the Passejade (a 75km loop from Tarascon with 803m of climbing).
